beberapa hari yang lalu, selama seminggu, kami berpeluang mengisi masa dengan aktiviti-aktiviti menarik (minus aktiviti penutup oleh faci yang aku tidak pasti tujuan mereka berbuat demikian ditambah pula dengan tiada penjelasan yang diberikan) serta memenatkan semasa kursus yang dikelolakan biro tata negara. sudah pernah dengar pengalaman yang lain-lain mengatakan kursus itu mampu membasuh otak atau merupakan proses untuk membasuh otak.

aku tidak pula fikir begitu. tidak, tidak. bukan otakku sudah dibasuh minggu lalu. ini kerna aku rasa, otak aku sudah bersih lagi sebelum menghadirkan diri. seperti yang pernah aku lalui dan rasai semasa mereka meremehkan jalur gemilang. mungkin darjah kebersihanku itu belum cukup. belum kuat sental.

ilmu aku kurang. kefahaman aku cetek. sebelum ini, pasti aku tahu hormati jalur gemilang. pasti aku tahu sayangi ibu. pasti aku tahu kepentingan wujudnya perpaduan.

perbezaan ilmu lebih jelas apabila selepas pendedahan, penerangan dan pembukaan mata. kalau sebelum ini aku tahu hormati, kini aku tahu mengapa perlu hormati. kalau sebelum ini aku tahu sayangi, kini aku tahu siapa itu yang aku sayangi. kalau sebelum ini aku tahu kepentingan, kini aku tahu bagaimana dan mengapa perlu mengekalkan.
