i bet they think they are in a juh-koo-zi with a slightly warm water that slowly turns to be hotter than the usual hot days in salt water where they play and bask and mate. if only we could hear them…..undoubtedly everyone will religiously accept vegetarianism.

i’m now actually struggling to finish my BLM1023 assignment which is due tomorrow. such fascinating task where we need to do research on any chosen comic (comic i tell ya!) based on two major topics of writing with six more minor ones. i chose to write about content: themes and persoalan (what’s ‘persoalan’ in english?). and the comic chosen is……Slam Dunk! hahaha. yah yah, i chose an easy one eh?
the thought of an assignment which is also due tomorrow and another two big ones to settle by next week AND an exam on friday that requires me to read all nine chapters (which i only flipped through once yesterday), plus finals in about 26 days from now, give me the-world-will-probably-end-tomorrow panic.
there is this obvious problem with english major students, well, maybe just for me. after almost six years of studying and doing researches and getting references of english journals and books in english, i can’t manage to find journals in bahasa melayu (!). maybe i don’t know where to look. so, okay…finding an exact match of research on comic’s themes is aiming too far. but coming across something close to that is hard too! therefore, i resorted into translating english articles that seem to support my research i.e the effects of themes in literature to readers, psychology of writing literature.
but hey, whaddayaknow, the she-lecturer said all that aren’t enough. need to get journals that discuss the exact themes that i focuses on in the ‘skop kajian’. rrrriiiight……and she insists that she wants the five exact articles cited on the ‘soroton kajian’. rrriiiight…..and no less than eleven references from other sources. rrriiiight…..
